Murderous footwear; a Barratts Shoes review

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by Barratts shoes and was asked if I would be interested in reviewing a pair of their shoes, obviously I said yes because come on it's shoes.

I chose these Follow me Studded ankle boots because I'm still obsessed with studs.

They arrived really quickly; in about 4 days. I was so excited to get them, I left university a day early than I normally do just to get them.

OH MY GOD I DIED.

Picture behind isn't of significance, I just thought it looked cool.
I kind of wish I bought some winter-suitable boots instead because I always complain about having cold feet in winter but I can never find any that I like so I thought 'Why not!' and picked the most death-welcoming pair I could find.

My general shoe criteria is 'If someone is scared they might get injured by my shoes, I am doing it right' so these babes fit nicely into my shoe collection!

I absolutely love them, they are so beautiful! The studs are blunt so you won't stab yourself or other people accidently when you're walking. I haven't worn them out yet, the reason why (other than the snow) is because they are just so high!

Ooooh look at that sexy side shot.
I have really small feet and the smaller your feet are, the smaller the heel you can handle. These shoes have a good 6" of heels and even though there is a bit platform they're just that little bit too high to be able to walk around in them for too long. I'm hoping intense ankle stretches before I swear them will help this!

My knees were buckling so bad *strokes shoes* you are worth the pain
After the snow has gone I will be taking these out for a proper walk because I really want to be able to wear them out for long periods of time without injuring myself.
Thank you so so much to Kieron from Barratts for contacting me and being so helpful with the whole process, and I really enjoyed our chats about Kpop ^_^, and thank you to Sami for recommending me to him!

In recent news. I have an interview for a social media internship at a London Street brand tomorrow!
I would tell you who but like... if I don't get it I'll be hella embarrassed.
Wish me luck!

  1. Those shoes are so cute! The feet don't look like they're at a really bad angle so I guess it might not be that hard to walk in?

  13. I hve huge, ginormous feet. I could never wear these. Not only because of the size of my feet, but because I am old and would likely fall and break a hip.
I am on your blogroll and am absolutely and totally honoured.
    You're fabulous.
