I have new hair!
A couple of days before new year, I wanted to try something a bit different because I've had the same boring brown hair for quite a while. It just didn't feel like me so I thought 'Hey, new year, new hair!'
I'm kind of He-man now |
Originally I was going for a dark silver colour but that didn't exactly go to plan because my hair literally turned green.
This photo does it justice, it was GREEN AS THOSE RADISH LEAVES BACK THERE |
Anyway 6 hours, 2 days at the salon and £250 later I have blonde hair, thank you to my amazing stylists for rescuing my poor hair, no thanks to Wella colorfresh 5/19 toner for trashing my tresses.
It's taken some getting used to but I really love my new hair. I think it's a lot more flattering on my face than having longer hair, though I really loved having hair extensions down to my waist.
I have a load of pictures from the Christmas holidays of when I went on adventures with my friends but unfortunately my camera broke and has to either be sent off for repairs or I'll need to get a new one, but hopefully I can upload those soon~
I will leave you with my outfit I wore for New Years day with the family~

Lol yes, He-man indeed :D But it suits you fine. The silver is not so bad, at least in the pic it looks okay. I bleached my head today and I am an yellow chicken now.

haha :,D Are you going to dye your hair another colour?
DeleteOh did you receive the dress I sent you? I emailed you when I went it but I never got a reply~
But hey girl, you looked cool in green! Anyway, you must look fierce in blonde, pretty looks pretty in everything! <3
ReplyDeletehaha I kind of liked the green but the only problem was how patchy it was once. Maybe next time ~
DeleteYour new hair is adorable; it really suits you! <3
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute with this hair cut :)

Thank you~~
DeleteHaha, green green >w< Lucky that the hairdresser could fix it! Even tho, if you have dyed your hair before, I wouldn't blame it on the coloring product. If you've colored/dyed it a lot before, it could be that all the color pigment has disappeared from your hair, leaving only a green color behind (my mom told me. She was a hairdresser for 27 years), so be careful next time too!
ReplyDeleteThe hair is really cute! I like it better than your longer hair!
'xx
It was my own fault, the dye I used was for 'salt and pepper' hair so there would have been no change my hair would come out how I wanted it to.
DeleteThank you <3
I seriously love this hairstyle on you ^__^ is this style and colour here to stay? ><
ReplyDeleteYup! Well I might change the colour once it fades, it's only semi permanent but it seems to be holding out rather well x
DeleteAw it's a shame about your hair - looks fantastic now though!

My webcam didnt really show how green it actually was, it was like inhumanly green haha x
Deleteyour hair looks great dear, although to be honest i was sort of digging the green. i suppose if it was even greener than in the photo maybe it was too green but a sort of seagreen color i think can look so good. i have been looking through your blog and i love it dear. great inspiration and i love all the fashion finds you have discovered and posted on here. following you now dear. feel free to do the same if you like.

I'm honestly tempted to dye my hair the green colour that it turned but it was really patchy. The photo doesn't really show the actual colour it went.
DeleteYou look so incredible with this hair color..:)
