I've been spending a lot of time working from my back garden in the skimpiest clothes I have and it is all FAB!
Ok except today there's clouds and everything.
Lots of my friends have been saying that they miss me blogging and I kind of do to but I don't really know what to write about anymore haha.
Please bear with me while I find the lead to my SLR camera so I can actually upload pictures that don't look like shite.
Once again i've been spending money on things that I really shouldn't. Last week my latest haul from taobao arrived and I'm super happy with it aah~
Brb going to a farm to milk some cows. |
I've had a massive clearout of clothes (and wow it's been a lot) so I will be sticking those in a link in the near future once I've taken photos of everything.
It's amazing how you can have so many clothes but still have nothing to wear!
Anyway here's my latest stuff
If you wanted to know where any of the stuff comes from, ask away in the comments and I'll let you know. it'l take me quite a while to re-find the links!
This haul ended up being quite expensive because of the weight of the shoes made the cost of the shipping go up quite high, but it matters not because I now have 2 amazing pairs of shoes to add to my collection!
I bought all that stuff because I've fallen in love with the aesthetic of a Japanese brand called Swan Kiss, particularly with how the staff girls style themselves. It's just too cute!
Even though the look is really cutesy, the silhouettes are a bit more mature than a lot of other pastel coloured brands out there. I'm not a big fan of over-sized clothing or fluffy skirts that have been popular with a lot of shibuya brands because fluffy skirts make me feel like a 12 year old girl in her 'rebellious punk princess' phase (or just Avril Lavigne) and baggy clothes make me feel like a 12 year old boy.
So basically Swan Kiss combines everything I love in regards to silhouettes and cute motifs.
I also really love their hair and makeup~ While gal trends have toned themselves down and the makeup has become a lot more natural, this brand (not even sure if it's even considered gal) still had dramatic makeup and cute My Little Pony-esque hair.
I don't think I could commit to having coloured streaks dyed into my hair as I only had my hair re dyed the other week but after seeing my bb Yami with hair chalks in her hair, I might pick some up next time I go shopping!
Does anyone have any recommendations of brands of hair chalk to buy? I feel super late picking up on the trends, I know its been around for ages now.

Sounds mega trampy but I just used normal art chalks (pencil case finds)! to chalk my hair- so cheap and does the exact same thing as hair chalk!
