Top 5 Cute (but not too cute) backpacks under £100!

Seeing as my top 5 tights websites went down so well, I thought I would do another top 5 list, this time featuring backpacks! There have been quite a lot of ss13/13 collections that have had backpacks in them so my creeper sense is telling me that maybe backpacks are on the rise!

If you're anything like me, the woven ethnic prints backpacks that are favoured by a lot of bloggers don't really cut it so after weeding those, and a ton of boring regular ones black ones, I was left with these cute but no-too-cute backpacks, which are suitable for all ages and are under £100!

This entry is a little link-heavy, just warning you now.
Mania Q Pastel purple backpack. This bag pops up quite regularly on my tumblr dashboard and I only found out where it was from today. Mania Q is only available in Japan but at a bargain at 2780 yen (which is about £20) it woudn't cost too much to use a shopping service to get one. This design also comes in a range of other pastel colours. Oooh~~

Ever since I saw Glad Newswinged bag, I have been lusting after a winged bag, but while I was browsing Fasionlista , I came across Lost Mannequin's winged Sid bag and I was just so amazing, I was in love and knew I need it. I think it was $50, not including shipping, but I can't check because the site is down for maintenance (I'll check later) and they come in lots of other cute colours. It's also made from 100% Polyurethane (PU) for you vegan lot and should definitely check out the rest of Lost Mannequin bag ranges because they are just as inventive and cute!

Independent British brand Lazy Oaf 's Clown Rucksack is the perfect size to use for a school bag (according to their website, it fits 3 A4 folders). What I love about Lazy Oaf in general is that a lot of their collections feature particular patterns which makes them easy to coordinate with other Lazy Oaf things, like you can match the bag with their creepers or this notepad or this t-shirt (can you tell I like matching things?). It's pretty reasonable at £55 and after molesting in the shop for a while, I know it's excellent quality~

Yes that Cambridge Satchel is a backpack. This is an adorable take on their more traditional satchels. The bag is available in 13 different colours and 14" and 15" sizes and at £93-£98 for an incredibly sturdy 100% leather bag, that is a really reasonable price. A bag like this will last you years unlike the cruddy £50 synthetic bags you buy from Topshop that show wear after 3 months, so it's a brilliant investment!

Lastly the Joyrich x Giza bag which is currently on sale on Fake Tokyo so you gotta be quick if you want it! Currently going for 11,844 yen (£95) it's a steal if you're a Joyrich fan. Joyrich is known for their super fun prints and Giza is the brain-child of Luxe-queen, Mademoiselle Yulia who I wrote about here. I want it so much, my ovaries cry for it. Curse you bank account!

So there we have it folks! What do you think of my selection?

What are your opinions on the backpack trend and do you know of any more cute backpacks?

    1. I have the same problem. I think the ones I have chosen in the past were a little bit too cute so I felt weird wearing them

  3. OMG I love them!
I've always been a fan of Lazy Oaf, ever since I discovered them when I was in my teens... (feeling old now >_>)! Though I think my favourite one of them all is the Mania Q one *dribble*!
I also like this one from ARTBOX - http://www.artbox.co.uk/artbox-backpack-panda-p-8502.html - They used to sell a white version with the panda's outlined in blue, which looked a bit nicer, but haven't seen it around for a while!
