Gal clothes on the British Highstreet; River Island

OH GOD she's back with yet another post. RUN WITH FEAR, the appalling-spelling-girl returns

Yeah Hi guys, I'm on a blogging roll here. I went to London today to check out what was new in fashion land. I wasn't actually intending on doing a post like this but I walked into River Island and saw an adorable display with these items on it and i instantly thought GYARU and hauled them into the dressing room to take sneaky pictures of them and try them on.

Unfortunately they're not on the River Island site yet.

First was this ADORABLE cream plush zipped jumper with bronze sleeve and collar detail. I  know this kind of texture was really popular in gyaru clothing last Autumn/winter but I have never seen it used in any clothes in the UK up until now.

It was really soft and warm and really versatile with this seasons colours but I didn't really want to pay £39 for it -_- Christmas present, Mum??

and secondly; THIS. A brown and grey leopard print coat with pom poms and hood. It reminded me of the W♥C one except this one has buttons instead of peg fastens and lacks the ears but still, damn cute none the less!

I put together a few coordinates of the things I saw in store and stuff I saw on the site.

Co-ordinate one: the teddy ear muffs and fur bag were together on the display along with the plush zip jumper so they inspired me to make this cutesy co-ordinate with lots of fur and wool and.. well warm looking things.

The Oxford Street store had a much bigger selection of tall fur boots that aren't on their site yet and a much nicer version of those black fur boots in a brown but just pretend those shoes are brown ne?

Second Co-ordinate; for a more sexy style. If you don't feel daring enough to wear the suspender tights, oft for cute striped black ones (The last time I wore suspender tights, a man walked past me and said "HOW MUCH, love?!" ) haha

You're not going to get much warmth from this outfit in this cold season but who cares! Look good right?

Co-ordinate 3: I wanted to make something a little Mode/high fashion inspired.
The top has amazing shoulder detail that you can't really see well here. It's got silver spike-like detail  that cover the tops of the shoulders.

and that's paired with these amazing diamante embellished leggings! Normally I hate leggings (don't get me started on plain black leggings aslkdjaskl-infinite rage-) but these are GORGEOUS. To top it off, a fur cuff, statement wedges and a plain studded bag.

and just another couple of things from Bershka that I thought were cute

Cute cute cute~

Hope you enjoyed the coordinates!
I had a lot of fun putting them together and looking for the things in store~

What do you think of entries like this? Do you find them interesting? I'd love you hear your feedback ^.^

Loving this song at the moment~ British rap yo~

Trip to Nandos and birthday presents

I'm on a roll here!

Yesterday, my friends, Han and Becky, and I went to Nandos for lunch.

This is what I wore~
Top: H&M
Skirt: Zara
Leopard Tights: M&S
Shoes: DreamV
Necklace: Topshop
Tail: Vintage; from a gross fox hat my mum had.

I need to get shoe shoes re-healed, they're warn down so I'm walking on the edges of the heel!

Becky got me some pressies and they were really cute so I thought I'd share them with you haha!

She knows me so well~ ! On the right of the gift bag is an insulated cup with owls on it! I'm using it right now. I always forget that I have a cup of tea in front of me and by the time I remember, it's gone cold so this cup is perfect!
In front of the cup is 3 little cupcake lip glosses. They all smell like sweets. They're too pretty to use, so I'm going to let them sit on my shelf and at the front is a notebook!

How bloody cute is that cloud XD I'm going to use it for studying Japanese in.

and lastly, THIS
HOLY CRAP! AMAZING. I actually tried making the t-rex one last night and it was so difficult I was actually ashamed of myself. I'll post a picture if I make a better one haha

And now I'm craving Nando's veggie pittas. So hungry. I can't be bothered with my personal statement anymore. Food making time~

I'm obsessed with this song, yes I am a loser.

Candy Magic Big circle lens review

This post is sponsored by Mukuchu~

Waa~ This is my first sponsored post! I'm really excited =D

I didn't know what kind of lenses they were going to send me so when I got them it was a real surprise!

Violet Candy Magic BIG lenses!

They're 14.5mm in diameter but they have an enlargement of 15.5mm!

Normally I'm not a fan of lilac/violet lenses, I used to own a pair of violet Geo Angel lens and I really didn't like the way they looked on because thy looked too fake (if there is such a thing with circle lens) but I was actually really happy with these ones!
Natural light
There's not a massive ugly gap between the natural brown of my irises and the circle lens which makes a good change!
Natural light but on webcam

[oh god my bottom lash was falling off x_x]

My eyes are naturally pretty big anyways and big circle lens have a tendency to make people with large eyes look really quite odd but these ones are the perfect size in my opinion.

LAST PIC! I <3 u photoshop

So the results are

Enlargement: 10/10. These are the perfect lens size for me. I wouldn't want any bigger
Colour/design: 7/10 Only because I'm not a fan of violet lens but I love these for violet ones. The design on the other hand was really nice! The little lines on them (dunno hat they're called) make them look nice and natural (well as natural as circle lens can get anyway haha)
Comfort: 7/10 I could defiantly feel I was wearing them, not that it was bad... [probably because I didn't clean them properly haha] and my vision was really blurry about 5 hours, but that's pretty normal
Over-all: 8/10!

I definitely recommend these to girls who like heavy gal eye makeup or just heavy makeup in general.
As with most circle lens, I advise you wear heavy makeup when wearing them otherwise it tends to look a wee bit scary haha! My friends loved them, they said they looked really cute~

So yeah, there was my first sponsored posts~Hope ti was helpful~ If anyone is interested in a pair, click here!

Mukuchu, you know you want to send me a pair of  Glitter series or natural series lenses next time ♥

UK Gal blogs~

Hi people~
I decided to talk about something a little different, instead of prattling on about myself like I always do so today I decided to talk about UK gals!

Gal is a relatively new phenomenon in the UK, only properly emerging from the shadows about 3 years ago with the creation of the country's first gyaru-sa, Booteek. After a somewhat "dodgey looking" beginning (ahem Yari) Gal quickly flourished into something truly fabulous!
(I was going to write a bit more about the history of Gal here but that would be an entire entry in itself.)

As an observer/member of the community over the past 4 years, it's been an intriguing thing to watch grow and change. Everyone I've met from it so far has been, as well as very fashionable, incredibly interesting, well-rounded and true to themselves which is so refreshing nowadays~

So instead of rambling on, here are some of the Gals and gal blogs from the UK
(this is your cue to start following them)

Hi, meet my wifey! We came to the conclusion that we share brains because we think so similarly.  Amelie is the founder of new London-based circle Delight!~ She's pretty new to gal but her progress has been super fast and she always looks cute and her hair styling skills are bad-ass! Stay away from her if you have long hair, because she will tie you down and style it against your will. Her style preference is the more cutesy style of gal but she's not afraid to experiment!~

I love Alanna's posts, they're super interesting and I always refer back to them to inspiration!~ Alanna mainly blogs with inspirational photo spams of Gals which focus on the more mature/mode side of Gal (which makes a nice change from the frilly cutesy trends that are so popular at the moment) and makeup reviews, interesting ones. Normally I dislike makeup reviews because they're pretentious and well... boring but Alanna's are neither of these things and are fun and easy to understand with colour swatches and mini tutorials~
Bloomzy's posts are super interesting~ She recently moved from the UK to Tokyo to study Japanese so she talks about her adventures out there, her buys and anything new to Gal in Japan that us Western gals might find interesting like popular brand shop fronts and news, and gal related media like new promotions, street events, model news, posters and brand booklet snaps etc. She even has interesting interviews with various bloggers and other members of the Gal community, which are super insightful!

The newly pink-haired Eilish has been mentioned quite a few times on my blog in the past, her being the leader of the ex-circle I was a part of,  Hibiscgyaru. Bullshit rumours aside, she is infact a really nice girl, really interesting to talk to and above anything, damn determined, striving and succeeding in whatever she sets out to achieve which I really admire. Her life's been pretty wild at the moment with her recent trips to Japan, Tsukicon and other adventure around the UK.

Meet my second wife Lucie~ Even though she's like 4 years older than me, I feel that there's no age gap between us! She shares my love of perversion and Kpop ♥ She's from Manchester which makes her blog all the more interesting because, the majorty of Gals in the UK are from in and around London, like myself and we hardly hear about the lifestyle of gals from anywhere else so it's really cool to hear about other gals from other parts of the UK... plus her accent in cool haha XD

There are many more amazing gals in the UK, so to the
others who do have blogs, please don't be offended if you weren't mentioned ♥

Damn this took me way WAY too long to write, I have to stop getting distracted... So yeah. Send them some lovings because they're amazing~

in other news, it was my birthday on Sunday! Last year of being a teenager D,:

and I'm off to bed~

My monthy shopping trip to Oxford street and NUDES!?

Hello yall, just thought I'd start out by telling you about a HILARIOUS incident that happened upon me this morning!

I was checking through my blog stats because up until 15 minutes ago, I didn't even realise this function existed so I was innocently scrolling down the page, checking out the keywords people used to search for my blog and I saw this...

What? WHAT!?
Whoever you are Anon... what the hell is wrong with you and what made you think I have nude pictures of me on the internet?!

Sorry to disappoint but there are none :)

Anyway on with the show

i went to Oxford Street on Friday to buy some pretty wintery things and got these
Top: 28 pounds i think. Kind of expensive but it hangs so beautifully and the colour is to die for

and to match

Cute camel shorts: 35 pounds
I've got some grey knitted socks to go with the outfit. I would post the picture of the outfit together but I have to get ready for work x_x

My Panic Panic pillarbox red dye arrived a few days ago, it works WONDERS my streaks in my hair are all lovely and vibrant red again` bit patchy in places but I'll work on that~
