Hi all! If you've been reading recently, you may know that I am currently running a little survey about you, the lovely readers, opinions on my blog and what you would like so see so over the next few weeks I would like to cover some of the results posted any and discuss any topics that people wanted me to cover.

I am incredibly flattered at some of the comments I have received, so you so much for the input guys, it's being really helpful, I'll take everything that everyone has said into consideration!

I have been asked quite a few times about my life at university and what I get up to. I spend most of my life at university and living away from home but I barely ever talk about it even though it's a really prominent part of my life so maybe this will satisfy come curiosities that you may have about my super unexciting life in Northampton in the form of these terrible drawings. I hope you enjoy what I get up to on a daily basis.

This is how I start every week; full of optimism and intentions of working hard but more often than not, this happens.

All my lectures start at 9am. That's just not happening.

If once I get out of bed, I decide what to wear. I don't do the whole casual thing. I believe that dressing up shouldn't just exclusive to fancy nights.

I like to think my outfit choices convey an image of a free-thinking, confident young woman with a unique take on style but there's always this niggling feeling in the back of my mind that people might think I'm a bit nuts and try too hard.

Nothing wrong with looking flashy!

As a student you are expected you to go out and party and drink a lot and I like to believe that I do my fair part of this. As much as I like a good night out, I would rather spend my money on a lot of other things, I'm already a bit nuts anyway so I don't really need alcohol to have a good time. I'm ashamed to say but I find myself saying this to a lot of my friends...

I am a disgrace

A lot of my time spent not bumming around my flat in between lectures is spent outside our apartment block waiting. There seem to be some people in halls don't seem to understand how cookers work or don't seem to understand possible repercussions of hot-boxing their kitchens so when the fire alarm goes off (which it inevitably will at least once a week) we are marched outside to sit and wait for a fire engine to arrive in whatever state of dress or soberness we are currently in.

Weekends are very boring here. Northampton doesn't have the most amazing city center in the world and the night life isn't that brilliant and as a city girl, it comes as a bit of a shock that it's so quiet. The upside is that it's within an hour of London, Birmingham, Milton keynes, Coventry and a lot of other towns but that involves spending money that you don't have. Weekends are spent sleeping off a hangover, being lazy, catching up on work, or tumblr. At the end of the day, everyone in my flat tends to go a bit mad so we tend to do strange things like dressing up, making forts, playing strange games and getting creative and decorate the flat.

New York trip

At the end of January I got the chance to travel to New York with my university course for a week of "educational stuff" and shopping.

This entry is in no chronological order because I kind of forgot when I took the photographs.

I'm a bit bummed that I didn't take that many photos. I find that the busier I am, the less I'm likely to take photos but I took a few and tried to jazz them up and make them look pretty for yall.

Firstly when we got off the plane, we all froze because it was snowing like a crazy and us being from England, we do not know how to dress appropriately for any weather conditions, plus we were fashion students so appearance>dying from hypothermia.

This picture was from the first day I was there. My friends insisted I had a photo of myself looking all fancy down Broadway(..?) and I reluctantly agreed. You have no idea how much will-power it took me to not make a hideous face.

The main point of the trip was for us to explore several fashion related businesses to get an idea of what they do and in hope of giving us an insight asto how broad the fashion industry actually is so for two days of our trip, we spent being given tours adn talks around companies like Ralph Lauren, Anthropologie, the Armani exchange head office as well as a few others.

One of my favourite things about NY was the size of the food portions. As a girl who spends 80% of her life trying to satisfy good cravings, this suited me very nicely. Every day I had pancakes dripping in maple syrup, eggs and bacon for breakfast. Eating maple syrup on eggs and bacon was a very novel experience for me.

The waiters here loved us.

Another thing I loved was the shopping because everything is cheap compared to England, not that I could do much shopping because I spent all my money in Japan. I didn however have enough for these Jeffrey Campbells beauties. $80 reduced from $200. Can you believe that?

My favourite place to go shopping was Soho. In fact all SoHos are awesome. I wish I actually took some pictures of it. I was really excited about checking a store called Seven but it was closed! We did however find LF Stores which was pretty magical and full of good things.

We also found this cat in one of the shops. I have no idea what the shop was called but we only went in because we saw him.

He had a security tag round his neck so when he walked out of the shop, the staff would know. Aww <3

We were surprised to see a Topshop! Ah English pride.

There were a few of things that I thought were particularly different to what we would experience if we were back home in the UK.

1) We were constantly complimented on our accents which I thought was really weird., but cool. I didn't

understand what people thought was so interesting about the way we spoke.

2) People were really friendly. I don't know whether its because we were English but wherever we were, people would talk to us; shop staff, people on trains, people in the street. We ended up befriending half a train at one point.

3) Our clothing caused a lot of stares. The way we dressed is nothing really out of the ordinary by UK standards and nobody would bat an eyelid but for some reason, we were being stared at like we were unicorns or something. I was also told about 5 times a day how cool my hair was. -ego swell-

I absolutely loved New York. It gave me the chance to bond more with the girls on my course, as well as escape my lectures for a week. I've always wanted to go to North America and New York did not disappoint. I really wish I could have stayed longer (and had more spending money)

I WILL GO BACK.

KKCenterHK nail review!

Hello darlings!

I'm back with another review for yall, this time from KKCenterHK~

~~Bloody ages ago~~ a while ago, I was given a chance to pick out some falsies to review so I picked these pretty Chanel babies because I'm classy.

I put the nails on before I took a photography. Oopsy!!

The box came in a nail glue and packet of 12 nails; a bit of a random number as they usually come in 20s. Like most DIY stick on nails, each nail has a little number on the back to indicate size and the thing that troubled me about these sizes is that most of the nails came in one of each size so i was quite worried at this point that some of the nails wouldn't fit me

But...

They fit rather well!!

The glue that comes with it is really good too which is a nice change from a lot of other nail glues.

KKCenterHK has a massive selection of nails (around 400 designs) and they are really reasonable, mine only being $2.74 which is barely over £1!

Things I bought in Japan

Hello all! I'm finally back from all my travels. Thanks god. Coming back from New York has left me with the worst jet lag I've ever had in my life so I'm taking it easy back home in London for a few days to try and recover.

This is going to be a bit of a boring entry unfortunately because I left my camera at university so these are the only pictures that I have uploaded onto blogger that I can actually use and 2) a combination of Insomnia, sleep deprivation and Nytol has made me rather lucid so my brain is a bit crazy at the moment and doesn't want to concentrate on one thing for too long but anyhow...on with the things!

I didn't buy as much as I thought I would mainly because clothes seem to be really expensive in Japan, and most of my money went on food and travel D,: Not to worry! I still picked up some lovely things that work into my existing wardrobe!

First off, these blatant Jeffrey Campbell rip-offs that I picked up on sale in the Shinjuku Alta building.

I practically wet myself when I saw Murua in the Lumine building and picked this up on sale. It's a gorgeous cut and looks great with a belt or even having the front tied up

this was my splurge item from D.I.A. I don't know what it is about the sheer tacky brilliance that makes me go mental but I wanted this and I did not care that it was 8000 yen. It's supposed to be a top but I wear it as a dress. Cos I'm classy like that.

I went a bit cray cray wth buying false lashes. I picked up my usual diamond baby lashes, some 'eyelash laboratory' lashes with Shiina Hikari on them and a 10 pack of lashes for 1000 or so yen!

Stocking up! The value pack lashes look just like the line that Kyary bought out.. but way cheaper

I got some Swimmer headphones becuase Ruby got some and they were cute as pie and because I always manage to break my earphones I thought 'why not' plus they were really cute

nd lastly, dis HAT. I saw quite a few girl wearing bowler hats so I thought I'd jump the bandwagon. I also lack hats in my life so this one was a welcome addition!

Clothes Show Live 2011 in Birmingham

Hello pretties!!

I've been a busy girl recently! Slacking on posting as usual

If you follow me on twitter then you may know that I was doing work experience at Clothes Show live in Birmingham as couple of weeks ago. It was an awesome experience so I thought I would share it with you.

For any of you that aren't aware of of what the Clothes Show is, you can click HERE. It's basically a massive exhibition hall full of clothing, makeup and accessory stalls (with some food and fun stuff thrown in there) and there are music acts and live fashion shows going on and its basically really awesome.

Every year, the Clothes Show gives 50 of my university's fashion marketing and fashion students the chance to work there over the whole event and I happened to be one of the students that qualified.

I was originally given a different role but because of a lot of confusion at the beginning of the day, I ended up losing it, only to be told I could be doing something much more fun; working in the VIP room which means CELEBRITIES~~

It was mine and my friend Emily's job to check VIP and celebrities into the room and make sure they were happy and offer help if they needed any.

We has Kimberly Wyatt, Zoe Birket, Lucien Laviscount, Tobias Mead, some of the TOWIE lot, some of the Hollyoaks cast, The dance crew Flawless, George Lamb, Bip Ling, and a loads more~ and my friend Chris's band FranKo

To be perfectly honest, I didn't know who half the celebs attending were. I'm not too concerned with celebrity or pop-culture but none-the-less it was really interest to see how people who live their lives in the spot light behave when they aren't on TV and they were all absolutely lovely ♥

Me and Emily soon discovered the power that our staff passes held for us and we took full advantage of it.

With our PASS POWER, here are some of the things we managed to get and do.

3. Free stuff from stalls! I was finally able to try out a pair of Eyelure's bottom lashes that I was curious about and we had them put on us

4. Sit in on fashion lectures held by Caryn Franklin who I must say is one of the classiest looking women I have ever seen in my life

5. FREE FOOD. We were given £6 a day to spend on food!

Or drinks. HO HO HO

6. Got our makeup done. Free makeovers FTW

We also managed to get backs stage to where the models were. And got to watch them get changed. oh hellooooo

I didn't buy very much because I'm going to Japan in a couple of days and are therefore saving but when I saw this stall right here I HAD to buy something.

NOMNOMNOM WANT EVERYTHING. Still need to write a blog about the stall for my uni's blog

I've heard of Regal Rose before through Ananya who bought one of their snake earrings. They're a UK brand run by two sisters~ They have several jewelry concepts which change with the seasons but their stuff is always unique from what you'll find on the highstreet. And better quality. And cheaper. So much to love

I bought these babies~ I'm not too sure what the crystal is but it's like a glittery black, it's beautiful!

Thank god their site has a pic of the earrings I bought, my camera was not behaving .

It's been 2 weeks since it ended and I'm back home in London. there's still a couple of things that i want to write about like Ananya's birthday and the prize I got from D~tan's giveaway but I literally have no time because I'm flapping around trying to pack my suitcase because I am going to Tokyo for 18 days!

My 20th birthday, stuff, clothes and more stuff

Hey guys

I'm currently laying in bed dying from the worst head cold ever and I'm bored out of my mind so I thought I'd write an entry.

I thought I had nothing to write about but I actually have a ton. It's all over the place, just sayin'

It was my birthday on the 14th and I am now 20 x_x I went clubbing with Ananya and Toni. Marie was unfortunately too young to come with us so she stayed at Ananya's flat. Ingvild had arrived earlier in the day so she came along with us and one of her friends. She was only there briefly because she was tired understandable but to was nice to meet her :) She's so cute too ;_;

We got to meet the designer of KTZ that day too :,D Sasko Bezovski or 'Sasha'.

EXCUSE ME WHILE I THROW MYSELF OUT OF MY FLAT WINDOW FROM THE AWESOME. He's not normally in the store but he was that day.

He was SO LOVELY. he said we were really fun and gave us a big hug ;_; We asked him where all the places that sold KTZ in Tokyo so he wrote them down and he drew us a map of all the best vintage stores to go to and restaurants and onsens and and and yeah.

Start in Harajuku, end up in Kyoto. Somehow.

Let me calm down.

On the day of my birthday, I kind of like... stopped being a vegetarian... accidentally. My flat mates and I ordered this Chinese set menu and barely anything on it was vegetarian so being the beastly girl that I am, I thought F*** this, it's my birthday and I ....

Mum also got me this cute pair of shoes from New Look. I love them so much ;_; I've been dying for a new pair of heels. I hate wearing flats, they make me feel so unglamorous and like as stupid as this sounds, not Gal.

I've been doing a bit of work experience recently~ One of my fashion tutors, Kiran runs a vintage/DIY brand called RedRock Fashion and myself and a few other girls from my Fashion marketing course were giving her with a hand with pricing, sizing and labeling the things she was selling.

I am never seen so many vintage clothes in my life! there were literally sacks of them everywhere.

I am a label sewing warrior.

As well as that, I've also been given a job at the Clothes Show Live in Birmingham later this week EEK! Apparently my university and the show are like besties so every year, they ask for help from our first year fashion students and I've been given the job of 'Paparazzi'. Sweet. I would have preferred to be a dresser or work back stage because I would at least be with people from my course. I do't really know what my role with entail but I really hope I get the chance to move around and talk to people.

Still it'll be something to put on my CV!

I'm so bogged down with revision and exams and deadlines at the moment. GAAAAH

But in less than a month, I will be in Tokyo. aaaah~

Barbie Super Nudy lenses review

I was given my pick of any of the lenses on their site and I settled on getting a pair of Barbie eye Super Nudy lenses in Brown..

the package arrived really fast and everything was wrapped up in these cute plastic bags :D

I opened the content of the bag and and here's what was in it!

A cute puffer fish shaped lens container. Shoppingholics gives you a free cute animal case with every lens purchase

I also have a hippo and a pig, I have a zoo going on now!

An adorable little card with some instructions on how to take care of the lenses

and now onto the lenses, isn't it just the prettiest packaging you've ever seen!!

They also gave a pair of those Velcro hair strips that hold back your hair~~

You may have heard of Nudy lenses before, there seem to be quite a few lens brand bringing out their own variations including Geo who most of your lens wearers are familiar with.

I guess a characteristic of Nudy lenses would be that the outer ring is never black, its always a darker shade of the lens, creating a more natural look.

The reason I chose this pair is because I had a pair of Geo Nudy lenses in Green a while back and they were some of my favorite lenses (until I lost them at a Dir en Grey concert D,:) because they were so comfortable so with this in mind, I just had to have a similar pair!

The difference between the two is that the Barbie eye ones are a massive 16mm in diameter while the Geos were only 14.5mm

When I got them I couldn't decide whether they were more brown than green but I just settled on the fact that they look golden, which isn't a problem at all because they look wonderful on!

I was wearing them in one of my previous pictures too, they show up pretty well.

(I decided to straighten the picture because my eyes look wonky as hell on the original because my bad posture induced by heavy school bags and weird sleeping position made me realize I usually have my head tilted to one side LOL special)

RATING TIEM

Size: ***** 16mm is HUGE. Can't really argue with that

Comfort: *** my eyes do dry out pretty fast with these. They definitely aren't as comfortable as the Geo nudys but as I'm not familiar with Barbie Eye as a brand, I can't tell whether its the lens that dries my eyes or the sheer size of it that makes them slightly uncomfortable after lengthy wear.

I went back home at the weekend to see my family and friends for a bit~

My mother and I went on a bit of a shopping expedition as I was in desperate need of some. (I literally bought like 4 with me so university and they've been on rotation since I started)

I have no idea why I liked this because normally I go running and screaming at the sight of velvet but for some reason, I needed it. It's very versatile~

More than anything, I liked the cut of this top. It made me feel like a kpop man.

I'm not too big on t-shirts and casual tops but I needed something that will go with everything and this fitted the bill!

I found this hiding under a pile of stuff in Zara.

It doesn't look it but its actually quite see-through and floaty and has "dolman "sleeves i.e the baggy under-arm bit. Perfect for rocky outfits

I thought this was a wolf at first but on closer inspection it's actually a bear LOL. The back of it is gashed which is all well and good but it does get a bit breezy at times and I have frequently been caught on things~

Mum insisted on me buying some more flat shoes because she hates me wearing heels all the time. I saw these reduced in Office~ £50 down to £25

I don't normally like flats because I think they can look quite dull (plus I feel short in them D,:) but these are lovely! they buckle up at the ankles. They so give me blisters thouhh D,:

I got this bear top from Republic, not a shop I'd normally go into because they seem to have an awful lot of boring casual stuff but among the piles of distasteful knitwear that have become so popular recently, I found this gem

The day after was Pink Marble's gal circle meet and seeing as I had nothing to wear other than what I went out to buy yesterday (because I left literally everything at my uni flat, I didn't think!) I had to knock something together with the clothes I bought from the day before so I wasn't feeling too fabulous.

Ah familiar messy bedroom~

Unfortunately we didn't really take any pictures from the meet except for Purikura and once again I can't stop myself from making horrible faces. One day the wind is going to change direction and I'm going to be stuck like that forever. LOL

It was really nice to see some new faces and see my usual lot, except Marie and Ananya weren't there because they suck and were hung over and had work to do. BOO.

Everyone was so cute!

Now I'm back at university again and I've been feeling quite sad for the past few days. I was originally thinking maybe I'm starting to get homesick but then I remembered my period's due LOL TMI

Hello pretties!

How are you all doing??

University is treating me well, I'm having fun here. Nothing fantastically eventful has happened, just every-day uni life stuff but I can't complain. I love it here. Well besides noisy neighbours playing dubstep at stupid hours of the night and morning and people being too loud when they come back from clubs, but other than that (and my 9 am starts every day) I can't complain!

I've been pretty busy which I don't even know what. I seem to send an awful amound of time bumming around yet at the same time, I'm still busy. Somehow. Being sociable I guess. One of my flat mates is really big on comic books and she's introduced me to some Marvel and DC stuff and sent me a selection of comic book torrents to download and I've currently been reading one called Cable and Deadpool.

The weekends are utterly DEAD here. None of the foody places on campus are open, the buses to town are really infrequent and everyone is hiding away so we've had to come up with some new and creative things to do to keep ourselves interested. Here are some of the things we have tried:

1) Redecorating!
The corridor looks mighty boring, there's nothing in it and it's all a bit drab so we thought it we would make our doors and message boards look nice!

Complete with sparkly unicorn, a picture from Kingdom Hearts and a rather graphic illustration of where to dispose of sanitary towels which was put in all the girls flats, you know, just in case we don't understand the purpose of bins. I thought I'd make it look pretty.

2) Climbing up the walls like a 4 year old thinking they're Spiderman.

Bed sheet over body; glasses; hat. Hilarious.

5) Getting drunk and sleeping in the corridor

and my personal favourite,

6) Find pedobear; an on-going game which involves hiding this here picture of our beloved bear and placing it somewhere in the flat in hope of someone else finding it. Once is is found, it is then replaced in another spot.
The funny part is that we never run into each other when we place it in a new place so it's kind of like it moves by itself.

Last time I saw him, he was in my freezer!

My favorite incident from the last few weeks was our "bacon incidence". On Friday a few weeks back we were all woken up at 2am from a loud knocking on our flat door and we were like greeted by this packet of bacon outside it. I got really excited because I thought gremlins has blessed us with a new packet but on looking in our fridge we realised that it was in fact our own bacon.
DUN DUN
Which means someone entered our flat.

Turns out it was some of the boys in one of the flats near us, they were drunk and fancied a bacon sandwich so they found our flat was unlocked *ahemIbetitwasLynette* and stole our bacon but then their guilty consciousnesses arose (or the lack that they'll get kicked out of their flat if they cause any more mischief) and they decided to abandon the bacon and warn us in the form of banging on our door to let us know it was there.

The flat-mates and I ventured into Milton keynes yesterday for some shopping. These cows were there.

I only picked up a couple of thing, infact I really shoulnd't be shopping at all becuase I'm a povo student but I saw this amazing cross necklace in Miss Selfridge and I just had to get it.

I also bought another pair of suspender tights.

I ordered these nails a couple of days back from LynnsBoutique on Etsy. Aren't that fabulously blasphemous?

Creepy guys just gravitate towards me and I have no idea why. Urgh it makes me cringe just thinking about it.
He sat with us because he liked my hair. He was blatantly a massive weeaboo and was amazed that I liked anime and manga. After 15 minutes of horrific chat up lines and sexual advances, we made a run for it. So creepy.

I'm off to the SU for 90s night. SWEET.

but not before I read like 100+ pages from one of my new text books.

I'm going back to London on Friday to see my parents *ahem get spoiled* and attend the MCM expo in London and see some of my lovely Gals so look forward to that entry!!

Life at University

Hello!!!

I am writing to you from my room in my flat at University. Eek! I've been here 2 weeks now and I am thoroughly enjoying my time here. I've been pretty busy with studying and general socializing and whatnot so this post isn't really well prepared but I thought I would show you my new home for the next year~

Pardon my brain if what I say doesn't make much sense. I was being a good fresher and partying and drinking til the early hours of this morning so my brain is a little fuzzy!

In this delightful brown building is my flat.

I share it with 5 other girls and together we share a a kitchen, bathroom, 2 toilets and a shower.

It's a bit plain and stuff but we're slowly starting to make it look more homely i.e writing stuff on everything and sticking pictures up.

Our delightful corridor which is creepy at night. The door that you see at the end leads onto the flat next to us and if you push it hard enough you can get through it.

Damn my neighbours are NOISY.

Our kitchen! It's pretty spacious and it's where we usually get together in the evenings and have a chat and stuff our faces.

Stove burns everything.

Now onto my humble living quarters.

I was INCREDIBLY happy to find that my bedroom did not have green furnishing like it was shown on the university website, but purple which is slightly better.

I HAVE MY OWN SINK. YAY.

I had to bring my own mirror, can't outfit-whore without one! (it was only like £26!!)

You can get more of a gist of the floor space. It's pretty small but it's not cramped.

My measly wardrobe which doesn't allow me to hang up most of my stuff so I have to cram most of my clothes into these little square holes. One is not amused.

It's still incredibly weird being here, I feel like I'm in a holiday camp and that I will be going home soon to resume my life in London but it's not. Northampton is going to be my home for the next three years of my life.

Northampton is a pretty quiet town, in comparison to London, it's pretty small and quiet. It's a bit of a shock for a city girl, though it is beautiful.

I'm starting to settle in properly now. I felt really out of place for the first few days, I only went out a couple of times in Freshers week but now I'm starting to get comfortable now and I'm starting to meet people and go out more.

Went to a club called Propaganda last night with the neighbours. Fun messy times.

I love my flatmates, well 4 of them (I don't even see the other one, she hides away). They may not like partying as much as I do but I couldn't ask for a better bunch. They're all really interesting and crazy and we have a similar warped sense of humour and find joy in the simplest of things.

My classes are really fun and interesting (well the fashion aspect of it anyway the marketing side is a little dry), my lecturers are all lovely (my fashion ones in particular, they're so inspiring *_*) and though I don't know my course mates very well yet, they all seem like a lovely bunch of girls (and guy) I know I'm really going to enjoy these next 3 years here.

Handling my money wisely is something that I'm finding hard to get used to. Since I don't qualify for a Student Grant and I don't have a job anymore, I'm relying on my parents for money for food and going-out and I have to be really careful with how much I spend. If any of you guys have any tips on how to save money then please recommend me some.

Bought this lot for just over £10 yesterday, woohoo!!

As much as I love my shitty flat and life in Halls, it can be bloody irritating at times. When you're not being woken up by your neighbours blasting dub-step while you're trying to sleep or banging on your doors or you to come out and party with them, there's fire alarms going off left, right and center meaning you have to leave the halls immediately, even if you're asleep or partially dressed.

This happened about an hour ago. We even had a fire engine arrive!

This guy made it worth it though

Now I'm wondering whether to go out drinking again tonight. Last night was mental and I'm exhausted.

Hullo babies!

Sorry it's been a while. I was planning to blog to you from my lovely (...well) flat at university but I was a spazz and left my camera cable at home so I couldn't post any pictures but I am back home in London now, [currently sitting with a plastic bag on my head waiting for my pink dye to develop] and I have my camera cable so I can commence with the entry that I had originally anticipated to make.

I managed to blag myself a ticket for English and Parisian brand, KTZ's Spring/Summer 2012 fashion show at London Fashion week along with my fabulous new friend, Daisy.

I've expressed my love for KTZ in a previous entry and I thought as there are a lot of Kpop fans following my blog that it would make for an interesting post as it is an incredibly popular brand among Korean musicians.
Like stupidly popular.
In fact most of the main k-pop groups are literally dripping in the stuff.
And I thought it would be fun to show you lot what your fave idols could ~~will~~ be wearing in the coming seasons!

I've been talking to Daisy online for the past few months but I hadn't met her until the day of the Fashion Show so I was really nervous that she was going to think I was like... insane but she turned up in her pink cardi- feathery Whistles skirt- Miu miu heeled adorable glory and we hit it off instantly and we fan-girled and spazzed our way to Somerset House the place the fashion show and drifted around the area waiting for the show to start.

I am still cursing myself for not taking photos before the start of the fashion show because there was just so much interesting stuff to photograph, including Daisy's outfit which was flipping awesome so I took the liberty of drawing what she wore.

I hope I remember it right LOL

I have never seem to many stylish people in one place at the same time in my whole life. It was incredibly weird but amazing, and slightly intimidating.

I know I shouldn't believe the stereotype that fashion people are scary but I really couldn't help it. Some of the attendees looked so sever and serious looking that we were scared to look them for too long in fear of them ripping our limbs off like angry baboons.

I hope we broke the stereotype by being overly enthusiastic, laughing too loudly and talking about anime, Bodyline dresses, cute phone charms and French bulldogs among other things in between being photographed for various sites and blogs.

Because we had tickets with dots on them we were allowed into the venue before this massive queue which was very nice.

I'd like to say that the blurred photography and skewed angles were done on purpose for artistic effect but that would be lying. I cannot use my SLR for shit and I am a horrific photographer.

We saw the show on the Wednesday which was menswear day but I'm pretty sure most of the collection this season was aimed more towards women, unfortunately I didn't really take many pictures of the mens stuff, though I can't really imagine any dudes donning many of those fancy bondage number...

My favourite thing about the collection was the PRINTZ. I am obsessed with their prints. Every collection, several new prints are introduced and come in a variety of colours and garment styles. I LOVED their bright jewel prints on black and pink fabric. SO pretty, they looked edible and the basic metallic outfits that were covered in bows. Kpop gurls are gon b all up on dem printz.

So yeah it was really magical and junk. ~~ It was a lot shorter than I had anticipated but none-the-less it was lovely and I was absolutely thrilled to have been able to attend. It was amazing to meet Daisy too, she is sooo soooo lovely and we have a lot of common and I definitely need to see her again for more fashiony adventures.

So yuuush that was my first experience of London Fashion Week. I'm hoping to go again next year as it was magical.

My arm is going to drop off.

Nail foil review- KKCenterHK sponsor post

Not to worry! Silver is just as lovely...but srsly I thought they were white. AH WELL

They're really straight forward to put on you just select a size that is most similar to your nail, cut it a little so it fits better, peel and stick straight over your nail.

If you want to get rid of any excess stick, simply use a nail file, file in a downward direction and the excess comes straight off! Simple right?

I'll run through a few pros and cons of the nail foils

Pros:

The design is pre-done for you, no flapping around trying to get the design looking symmetrical on all your nails.
No smudging as no polish is needed!
Simple and fast to apply

Cons

The edges keep sticking up if no stuck down properly
They don't stick for very long
They leave a right mess

Starting university, new hair and cute pink things~

Hey guys!

In just under 2 week, I'm going to moving out of Greater London to start my new life in Northampton to do Fashion Marketing at the University of Northampton!

It's only an hour from London ;_;

I am SO excited about to going to university, you have no idea! I feel like my life is finally starting and I am going to study a topic that I am truly passionate about and I'm BUZZING. (After sucking with my education for so long, I've actually done something right!)

I thought I'd have a little hair change to celebrate...

I cut it all off!

I had it cut baring in mind that I wanted to attach micro loop extensions to it so I have to put up with having a really annoying longer layer that I don't want, just to keep it natural looking when the extensions are in. I love it but now my hair is so healthy, it doesn't stay curled for more than half an hour ;_;

Zombie time!

I'm still waiting on my micro loop extensions! 22" of Brown and baby pink hair. Ooooh~

As a child, I always said too myself that if I ever went to university, I would have the most horrifically pink room, you'd ever seem and I've stuck to my word! Here's some of the stuff that I've bought haha~~

I get on well with most people but I really do hope I get to know people there that like K-pop, that'll make me really happy :D

Besides, getting really drunk and dancing to SHINee is the best thing ever.

I have another couple of entries to do before I'm off and I'll do a little room tour once I get there :D

Also, in short news:

. I went to the hospital abut my jaw not being able to open. Unlike my GP and dentist, the doctor said it'll go away. I've been put on a soft and small food diet and am getting some weird brace thing

. My job ends on Friday. Fuck yes, I can get my nails done and pink hair (and burn my uniform)

. I have my driving theory on Saturday. I'm going to fail. Wish me luck!

My summer holiday so far

I've been a busy little bee recently, mainly with my job and being ill. My body has a tendency to give up when I don't have school so currently I'm suffering a strange stomach virus that makes me both incredibly hungry and nauseous all the time and have developed a jaw joint disorder that renders me unable to open my mouth properly. FUNNNNN. /forever ill

I've been up to a lot of stuff recently, I can't remember most of it tbh but here's some of teh stuff I did

1) . I got a spontaneous text 2 weeka ago from Chriss asking if me and Ananya wanted to go to the McQueen bar with her and her friend Alex so naturally we said yes. The bar itself was AWESOME, and manly.

For a place that was supposed to be a burlesque bar, I would have expected the attendees to be a bit flashier but 95% of them were office worker so the 4 of us were all alone and colourful in our little corner sticking out like the muti-coloured hair weird clothed individuals that we are.

Nights out with my London-Crew (as I shall know dub them) always attract as least one weirdo, this time in the form of an office worker and his friends who knows about my secondary secondary school I went to (("You're awesome, even though you went to a shitty school") Talking of my school, I found my old uniform yesterday))

I'd be very freaked out out if someone recognizes my uniform or even goes to the same school as I did hah!

and we spent most of the evening making faces at each other when he wasn't looking.

The performers themselves were really awesome, I wish I got some pictures but my i-phone copped out, saw saw a sword swallower, a suspended-from-ceiling hoop performance, a fan dance and this really odd one which involved a girl, wearing flesh coloured latex bodysuit inflating hearts that were attached to various points on her outfit. It was AWESOME.

Basically we drank a lot and lots of screaming and lolz were had. I haven't been that drunk in YEARS. Luckily I managed to stumble home with Ananya after drinking 6 glasses of water before I left the bar. the rest was a bit of a blur.

2) I went to Emilie's 21st birthday celebration. It was so so much fun! It was nice to catch up with people I haven't seen in a while.

I haven't done a proper buys post in ages, I haven't been shopping as much as I used to but for some reason I seem to go down on money a lot faster and I don't quite know why.... probably McDonalds actually SO HERE IS ONE.

Peter pan collars seem to be quite popular with Gal, particularly Mode and Retro Girly style and I keep seeing these kinda of shirts popping up on tumblr and I thought I'd jump the bandwagon, because why not! It was £10 from Primark. Not bad I think though I do miss the days when things in Primark were like £6...

I need to wear a camisole underneath. Well i don't but I don't want to scare people.

Collar detail!!

Mum forced me to buy a pair of flat shoes because I literally don't have any so I found these in Primark too. I wouldn't normally go for something like these but they're nice and versatile~

This is my latest splurge, a leather dress from Topshop for £50. It looks super shiny and gross from where I turned up the colour contrast but it's actually a lovely matte fake leather and it looks awesome on, it kind of makes me think of a slutty maid outfit haha!

New hair bad weather and shopping

Last week, Marie and I went to an event called Hyper Japan in London which was like a Japanese culture event with added pop-culture. It's a fairly new event, only beginning the year before which I also attended. It was a bit disappointing last year but we had high hopes for this years one because the venue was A LOT bigger.

When we first tured up at the venue, the cue was MASSIVE, it wrapped around half of the outside of the Olympia hall, which is a big building. We queried the staff at the front of the queue and asked how long the queue was and she said...

5 hours.

Marie and I were just about ready to go home when we saw our friend Rei who just happened to be staff for the event also she managed to sneak us in the venue through the staff entrance :D

We got bored in literally 15 minutes but we did manage to bump into quite a few people we know which was nice :D

Like last year, there seemed to be no consistency with the stalls, there would be interesting stuff next to totally boring or irrelevant stuff and there were TOO MANY food stalls. To its credit, it did attract a lot of incredibly well dress people.

Talking of food-stalls, I don't know what thy did to the food there but me, Marie and another girl we know were being sick everywhere the day after. What lovely reminder of the event!

I''ve finally had my fringe cut back in... well... I did it myself, I hope it doesn't look too bad. It came to a point when my fringe was blinding me and I had been procrastinating enough about cutting it cut back in. What motivated me to actually do it was this picture.

On another note, the foundation I bought is too light for my skin and looks BLOODY AWFUL

I also thought I might as well dye my hair too because you can see from that picture, my roots are vile. I tried L'oreal Sublime Mousse in this shade

I've wanted to try a mousse dye ever since they became available in the shops. The Palty advertisements make out that the foam is all frothy like shampoo and I got really excited but my dreams were crushed because once you put the mousse on your hair, it's not moussey anymore D: (Unless that was only on my hair because I have too much of it...)

Yesterday when I went out with Chriss for a fabric hunt. She's hoping to make a little clothing collection so we were out looking for funky fabrics to use. I dressed completely inappropriately as it was raining really hard and it was humid and disgusting. I didn't style my hair because I knew it would just fall flat in the rain

We joked that she had enough fabric to turn her flat into a massive den haha~

I then forced Chriss to help me look for KTZ which is a London and Paris based uni-sex brand that is really popular with K-pop groups.

I had no idea there was actually a store in London because I found the brand through a Japanese website but my friend Daisy (omg I will tell you more about her later) informed me that there was one. Right by my fave restaurant. I had never seen it there before. I suck.

and OMG it was like a wonderland. I have never been to excited to go into a shop in my whole life.One of the customers who was apparently doing a fashion editorial (and had just borrowed a massive pile of their clothes) took a liking to us and as said 'YOU'RE SO STYLISH, WHERE ARE YOU EVEN FROM?!' and we all flailed and tried stuff on and flailed some more.

They have a sale on ATM so GET YER ASSES DOWN TO GREEK STREET.

I picked up this cute short hoodie with dolman sleeves for £35, reduced from £135?? I think? something like that.

and I got excited about what clothes I could wear with it.

Isle of Wight trip!

Hello darlings!!!

I'm back from my week long trip of visiting friends and I am pooped! It feels really weird to not be surrounded by people, it's a bit lonely D: As I'm writing this I've literally just come back from my 4 day trip to the Isle of Wight to visit one of my best friends, Ananya with Marie.

The last time I went to the isle of Wight was last year, in fact I wrote an entry about it in August last year! It's funny, it doesn't feel like it was that long ago.

Marie and I arrived on the island at 11:40 on Monday where Ananya picked us up and whisked us back to her place. I still can't get over how massive her house is. her family used to run it as a hotel up until a couple of years ago.

This isn't even half of it.

I find it a really strange idea that a person can have a house with rooms that they don't go into.

Here are the clothes that I packed. I only just realized I missed out 3 garments. Whoops!

We made all these fancy plans to go to the beach and chill in the sun but alas the weather was rubbish so we spent most of the time trying to look as disgusting as possible, doing make-up, eating and making stupid noises.

On the first day we thought it would be fun to make me brown.

We were also all suddenly inspired to bleach and shave off half our eyebrows. We then did the only rational thing you can do when only having half your eyebrows, which is to do visual kei make-up.

The main reason I "dramatically altered" my eyebrows is because my own brows suck i.e. grow too fast and can't be plucked into a shape I like plus half-brows look great for gyaru makeup~

On the second day, we got half a day of sunshine so decided to go to the beach for a little walk. The sea-weed STANK so effing bad that we didn't stay long.

Initially, one of our plans for our Isle of Wight trip was to write SHINee's Taemin a birthday message in the sand but for some reason this came out.

I always say this but I really wish I took more pictures. Ananya's house is so flipping huge, when I did want to capture a moment, I'd have to sprint through the house up several slights of stairs to get it, there are so many times I would have loved to have a camera at the ready e.g. making gross rye pancakes, Taemin pizza, chocolate face masks, scaring the gardener, the dead-shrew moment, playing video games, Marie sending pictures of her boobs to Japanese rock band Girugamesh's Satoshi via twitter. FUN TIMES.

Yesterday, the weather was so bad that we just sat in side, watched 'Suicide Club' [which is basically the worst movie I have ever seen in my life, it made no sense and was nothing like the manga] and drew on each other yet again while today was mainly spent traveling back home.

I'm not even that tired now, though I should probably try and get some sleep because my sleeping pattern is messed up at the moment.

I'll write an entry about stuff I bought in the next couple of days~ I'll also update as to whether my parents actually notice my missing eyebrows!

Hello all!!

Welcome to my newly name-changed blog ~ I hope the name-change hasn't caused anyone confusion., it was a bit of a spontaneous decision really. As much as I loved my old url, seeing as it it was inspired by Capsule's song Candy Cutie, I could no longer ignore the fact that it sounds like the kind of thing a 4 year old girl has written on a t-shirt or what a 14 year old girl would slap across one of those BLINGEE graphics in glitter.

AM I KAWAII YET?

So, sticking with my theme of having Japanese techno songs as url names, I settled in Galaxy Girl, which is a little line from the song Galaxy Boy by Aira Mitsuki

For some reason I felt like elated having a new name~ Anyway I'm rambling, if any of you have my old url lurking around, please change it to this one ^^

On my last entry one of my followers asked (before all my comments got erased when I changed my blog name) if I would do a tutorial on Minnie-mouse hair so here we go! All you will need are hairbands, a brush and hair spray.

(Please excuse my clothes and the fact that my boob is basically falling out of my shitty Elle magazine freebie top, I'm in bedroom/slobbing mode.)

hold the tip loosely, you don't want to create a swirl bun l you want it to look like a ball of hair. Tie with elastics + repeat!

What crap did I get up today?

It's a Saturday night and I'm bored and I've been on the internet, slobbing around coughing my lungs out, reading Junji Ito comics all day creeping myself out. Other than going out to hunt for a new laptop for me to take to university [[because I GOT THE GRADES I NEEDED SCORE -flail-]] I have done nothing else so I shall just share some fun stuff with you.

Up until about 10 minutes ago, I was sitting at my computer quite on edge after reading 7 volumes of his work, this combined with boredom drove me to make my own version of some of the pages.

How are you all doing?

I have finally finished my 2 year fashion course at college, which is really sad so I'm sat here now with absolutely nothing to do! This is a life-time first! I'm trying to make the most of my time by being as constructive as possible! I'm trying to get everything organised for university. I don't officially know my grades until tomorrow but my teachers said I don't have to worry about not getting not reaching the grades I need because apparently they're high enough =_= thank god. Other than that and seeing friends and the like, I don't now what to do with myself so I thought I would blog about some of the stuff I have bought recently~

I'm serously lacking in flat shoes at the moment infact I had none so I decided to get these for £20 from New Look!

They actually have a bit of a heel but I find shoes with a bit of a heel much more comfortable to walk in.

I got this bag a couple of months back when I went looking for a new bag for college. It's rather snazzy but I quite regret getting it now...

For £48, it really isn't worth the money. The material is a stretchy face leather than easily tears revealing the underneath not-so-nice stuff. The plasticy border on the handles are starting to tear in places and the bottom of the bag has started going blue for some reason. TLDR: Don't buy Marc B bags folks!

I bought some classy jewelry from Primark when I was out with Marie and Unni 2 weeks ago.

MANLY JEWELRY IS MANLY. it only came to about £7 in total :D Viva Primark!

And today after I went to the doctors about my dislocating jaw adn went to the bank, I went to Boots and got some eye shadows and blusher from the 7 range there.

My trip to Paris and SM Town

Earlier this month me and my friend Ananya went off to Spring for a couple of days. if any of you remember reading a few entries back, she managed to get hold of tickets for SM Town in Paris for us!

SM Town, for any of you who aren't in the know, is a concert hosted by the South Korean music company SM Entertainment and they have some of their artists perform. SM Artists are some of the most popular in Asia! They're also some of the most fashionable.

So on the 8th of June, Ananya and I left my house to set off for the airport.

We decided to twin our outfits by wearing similar clothes, capes and shoes. We ended up at the airport at about 11pm on the Wednesday as our flights were at 6am on the Thursday so we had a lot of sitting around to do. We were trying to spot other passengers on our flight who we thought were going to the even too.

We had 6 hours of sitting around to do so we drew pictures on Ananya's ipad

We finally got on the plane and after 55 minutes BAM we were in Paris.

The metro stations in Paris have no lifts of escalators ANYWHERE so if you're disabled, have a child or like us, have massive suitcases, the metro station is not your friend. A man had to help me carry my suitcase up the stairs x_x

We stayed at a hotel called the Hotel du Nord et de L'est. Thank god it has a lift, our room was on the 4th floor. We arrived at about 9 or 10 and fell asleep as soon as we got there.

We managed to cram in a couple of hours of sleep before we set off to meet the lovely Emma of Blooomzy. I'll write a separate entry for our shopping adventure~

The next day we got up relatively early to have a walk around the town. We decided to go up to where the concert was held just so we had an idea where we had to go later in the evening. We weren't originally going to stay but we we found some English girls amongst all the other French and foreign fans so we got talking.

When we introduced ourselves, Me and one of the girls called Asher realized we knew each other from tumblr XD what a funny coincidence! We stuck with each other for the remainder of the day.

While in the venue I got my creep on and did some Gal hunting. This girl was sitting a few rows in front of us so I took a sneaky picture.

She had another gal friend who joined her later on. They were so classy, sitting on the floor while the crowd was gathering, props to you ladies!

Heechul looked exhausted, poor thing. His legs look great though haha

By the time SHINee came on, I was so weak that I nearly passed out screaming so I had to stop LOL. IT WAS HARD, they're my favorite! THEY WERE SO CUTE.

They're all so beautiful in person, especially Taemin. God he's adorable, I don't care if he's a dude, I would happily have his face. Minho was just PHWOAR all over the place with his perma-sex-face. Unf sexy man. Jonghyun was really excited and was running around everywhere with a massive video camera and Onew was his usual derpy self.

I practically cried when Key came to our side of the stage, he was basically like GOD. He's one of my idols, I absolutely adore him.

The concert was a bit of a blur, I hadn't eaten that much so my body was totally exhausted. It was so much fun though, I had an amazing amazing day and met some lovely people. I really didn't want to go home, I miss everyone. I miss the groups. ~~I should have kidnapped them~~

Berry Holic lens review

It's that time again; it's lens review time.

This time, I'm reviewing a pair of green lenses from the Geo Berry Holic series.

Funnily enough I got sent the same pair of lenses by two separate lens sponsors, FOTDLooks and my usual love, Mukuchu so I'm slightly confused as to how I'm going to go about talking about them. ^_^;

I apologise to both of them for being so slow -_-''

First some information

DIAMETER: 14MM

WATER CONTENT: 38%

BASE CURVE: 8.6

LENS LIFE: 12 MONTHS

I know I've said this quite a lot of times in the past but to date, these are my FAVOURITE lenses. I absolutely love them. Recently I haven't been too keen on very plasticy looking fake looking lenses so there are person for me. The colour and design is pretty natural.

You can get away with using natural-ish make up with these lenses as they aren't too big

You can wear basic makeup with them and not look like an alien hahaha

I'll talk about FOTDLooks first~

So in under a week (3 days to be exact) (FOTDLooks is located in the UK) I received this spiffy, well-packed little package.

I had to hack into it with scissors!

And here's what's inside!

Everything has been thought about~ it's so professional looking! I'm particularly impressed with the fact there are instructions on how to put the lenses in and clean them etc, I've ordered a lot of lenses online in my time but this is the first time I've received instructions with them. This is excellent for first-time lens users

The lens jars themselves! They even have the all-important Geo sticker of authenticity to assure you that they are not fake, therefore you won't be putting yourself at any risk by having them in!

And here's a picture of my second pair of lenses that Mukuchu sent me so you can see the colour when they aren't in the eye. I get so excited when I receive packages from her~ My mum... not so much (she hates me wearing lenses)

You can really see the green here.

Most of these lenses look green but in fact they aren't.

CM953 is hazel
CM955 is grey
CM956 is green and the colour I was given
CM958 is brown

I think it's the yellow ring on the inner circle that throws you off a bit but without that yellow ring they wouldn't look nearly as natural. The yellow helps to disperse your natural eye colour therefore helping the lenses to blend in with the colour better.

I am absolutely delighted with my new lenses and the amazing service provided at FOTD-looks; excellent communication, fast shopping and adorably presented packaging, I am genuinely thrilled, unfortunately since being sent the lenses, the site is now being discontinued but the Facebook page is still up and running!

So now for cam-whoring.

I had quite a hard time trying to capture the green as it's pretty subtle while the yellowy middle part of the lens is quite striking. The green only really shows up in natural light, with a flash, it's quite hard to see.

They make me think of a tamer version of the popular Princess Mimi aka Bambi lenses that are really popular with Gal models like Tsubasa.

Enlargement: ***** For me, 14mm are the perfect size, I don't like them being any bigger than that~

Colour/Design: **** The only thing I would want to improve was the intensity of the green as my eyes are still looking pretty brown~

Comfort: **** They stayed comfy all day though near the end of my day i.e a trip out with my girls, my vision was starting to blue. I personally blame my eyes for being fussy!

London Graduate Fashion Week

I caved, I got bored, here's a post now.

I don't really talk about my daily life, particularly college. I spend 3 days a week there and I never write about it so I thought I would today because we did something fun last week! On Monday last week, I went to London graduate fashion week with my college.

Here was my company for the day~

I spent 3 days a week these these babies, I love them lots!!

Graduate fashion week is where fashion university graduates showcase their final university project in the form of a mini collection which consists of about 5-6 pieces. There's a lot of press around it as some of these guys could be the designers for the future! It's a really exciting day. Each uni is allocated a time slot and you can get tickets for the uni you want to see.

We got tickets for the Du Montford show because one of our college tutors used to teach there.

There was a lot of time until the Du Montford students stuff was showing so me and my friends had the opportunity to walk around and see the stalls that the universities had set up. The universities create really fancy stalls with student's designs and pretty decorations to attract new students to them. As well as giving our university prospectuses, some of them give out beautifully presented photo books, magazines etc of the students designs. So yeah I came back from the event with a massive crap of amazing free stuff!

Company magazine were also giving out goodie bags for £3 which conyained a load of stuff so i couldn't resist!

Not bad for 3 quid! The bag also had a bottle of dragon fruit vitamin water, some chocolate and some crisps but I ate those before I could take the picture!

I got my photo taken for a magazine, the lady liked my skirt and shoes. I wear this outfit too much. It's like my safe-outfit. If I'm ever stuck with what to wear, this automatically goes on, with different shoes and accessories. Covered my face because ~~my beauty would blind you~~ my face was revolting.

((Someone on Gal secrets pointed out that I don't look Gal most of the time. First of all SOZ and secondly, not gonna lie, I don't even take pictures when I am because I'm in such a rush to get out the house I don't bother and all my blog pictures are mostly lens reviews where I just wear any clothes for the sake of not being naked (cos I don't wear clothes in my bedroom ever) but that's another story!!))

Other than the clothes, my favorite thing about Graduate Fashion week is the student's choice in music. Each student gets to pick what song plays when their clothes appear on the cat-walk (you can hear the music even when you're not in the stage area) and I have to say I was really impressed! I don't know which university it was but one of the students played Take Me Take Me by Perfume and I freaked out. Another had Vinushka by Dir en Grey and the song after was Queen Adreena's cover of Jolene. I was so stoked!!

All in all, it was a really good day and I had lots of fun! Though i did come home with a dead arm from the amount of things I had stuffed into my bag haha :D

Hello my dears!

Yesterday I had a really busy day. I met up with Amelie who came down to London for a few days to see the band D so we could go shopping and once again (for the third time in 2 weeks) look for fabric for college.

I wore my new tshirt that I got from Urban Outfitters last week. I don't know why, but I couldn't resist buying it. It's a bit flimsy but I like how it has longish sleeves rather than cap sleeves.

I'd never done my hair like that before but it looks quite cute. Amelie let me borrow her W♥C head-consuming leopard print bow to complete the look. People looked at me like I was mental. Well, at least I didn't look boring!

I went into a shop on Oxford Street that I hadn't been in before, called Miss London (it doesn't seem to have a website). It's a cute shop, nothing out for the ordinary but the prices are quite cheap in comparison to most of the shops on Oxford Street.

There's several layers of different material including a polka dot one with lace attached and a seee-thruogh fabric which I have no idea what it's called..

The quality isn't amazing but it was a good price and it's a versatile skirt.

Then me and Amelie got on with business; fabric hunting...

After going into a ton of shops and getting lost several times, I managed to get hold of some white cotton velvet which I would dye this rather fetching shade of panama blue from Dylon.

There was a hole in the third finger on my rubber glove so my finger is now blue. Huzzah

Two days later, my finger is still slightly blue...

I'm starting to look around for things to buy for university such as crockery and cutlery. I feel like I'm getting my own house! I've been looking for cute Rilakkuma plates and the such, I wanted to be surrounded by cute things at uni!

Kei's birthday

Just a quickie!

At the weekend, it was my friend Kei's birthday so to celebrate we went to a bar and then off clubbing!

Our first port of call was a bar in the West End called The Match bar which was really pretty.

Our dress theme was supposed to be glamorous/hostess style but I don't really own anything glamorous/hostessy so I went this this outfit, which I wear way too often.

I was pretty drunk after that Zombie, I don't know about anyone else.

We had to get to the club we were going to by 11 otherwise we'd be charged £20 for entry so we staggered down to Club Bond on Carnaby street carrying a massive box of cake that the bar gave us.

THE CAKE. It was from Tesco HAH. No, we didn't carry it around the club for the whole night, the bar staff looked after it for us! Miss Kei used to be in the circle Hib with me and Ellie and I rarely get to see her now D:

The club was really really hot so half the time, half of our group was outside the club, squatting on the floor like the classy bitches we were or running up and down Carnaby Street screaming.

Many interesting things happened outside with many interesting people, including this guy we dubbed T.O.P the diamond dealer because he style himself on T.O.P and was a coloured diamond dealer. His Armarni jacket was like covered in cake and he didn't give a shit. Me and Chriss got a bit excited and stared singing Knockout with him.

We also managed to get into a tri-lingual friendly bitch fight of a sort with a load of people, that was FUNNY. I think his was the height of my drunkenness so I can't really remember what we were talking about XD People would slag each other off in Japanese and then everyone would go 'OOOOOOH GURL YOU DIDN'T SAY THAT' and the language changed and it was weird XD Everyone was so friendly.

We also spoke to these guys who were architects and they were into manga and anime and we talked to them about bad cosplayers. XD So fun!

I just found a website that had photos of the events and was going to post some pictures from it but I'm cringing XD SO FUNNY.

These weird guys were hitting on Chriss and said stuff like " you're like sexual predators or something" and we attempted to creep them out saying that Chriss's boyfriend is going to knock them down with his car then Ellie staggered us to these guys and shouted "SOME GUYS CHAT SUCH A LOAD OF SHIT, get away from them they bad for you" and proceeded to pull me and Chriss away. XD I don't know if she remember that XD

My poor Litas suffered quite a bit at the party. I had my shoes on a table to keep them from getting covered in drink and this guy wanted me to dance with him and I said no so he DRAGGED me by my shoes across this table onto the dance floor. I was literally kicking and screaming and I was clinging on to my friends for dear life. XD He tried to steal Kei too but we managed to hold onto her. Thanks to that RETARD my shoes were covered in alcohol and needed cleaning T^T I need to buy conditioner for them to make them all soft again. STUPID MAN, BUY ME A NEW PAIR.

So after the party we went to MacDonalds for 24 hour food and then I ended up back at Ellies at 5am and I slept for about 2 hours before I had to run off and get back home so I wasn't late for work.

All in all, fun night! I was so sleepy when I got back =_____=

In other news, my parents insured the family car so I can practice driving on it and I had a scary moment yesterday I went out for a drive in it with my dad and missed the break and hit the accelerator instead and nearly hit oncoming traffic ahaaa

Gals (and guys), I seem to be having a bit of a problem at the moment but I'm sure a lot of you have had (or do have) a similar problem.

I appear to be having a bad case of "Style schizophrenia". I just don't know how I want to dress anymore.

When I open my wardrobe I just stare in with a dead face. it's annoying because I know I have a lot of clothes but nothing matches with anything else. I attempted to clear out my wardrobe to take out the things that I don't wear anymore too see if this would help me.

And now my wardrobe is void of colour, lets count how many coloured things we can see!

It's funny because I really like colourful clothes and thought I wore a lot of colour but apparently not...

I can't seem to find many things to my taste in the shops and even gal online stores have been leaving me feeling a bit uninspired recently...

I did manage to get a few things in the last coupe of days. Nothing that interesting but good staples for my wardrobe.

I got a black maxi dress from H&M for £12 because I thought it would be good for Mode-gyaru coordinates.

Styled it up with some round River Island sunglasses, bangles, metal necklace and litas.

i also got some earrings from River Island for £10

Lovely and glam <3 I don't have enough earrings. Need more.

Some Too Faced lip injection extreme gloss.

This stuff is a MIRACLE for girls with thin lips i.e myself. It stings like hell but its so worth it, just don't get it no anymore besides directly on your lips or you will look like you have herpes.

This magical La Senza Bra for £25. I always complain how UK bras don't compare to the frilly awesomeness of MA*RS style bras but this was suitably frilly and impractical enough for me to want it.

I actually went back a few days later and got the matching underwear.

I shit you not, this is the first pair of matching underwear I have ever owned. I don't like thongs normally but look how cute it is!

I also got a turquoise ring from H&M for about £4.

My easter holiday

Hello dears!

My follower numbers keep fluctuating which makes me a bit sad T^T I hope it's just blogger being lame. cryyyyy

Easter holiday finished for me last week so I'm back at college, slacking as usual. My eastern holiday was really fun, and it was nice that it was sunny through most of it! Here's a little break down of what I got up to. It's not in any order, my memory is really bad.

I went to see Sucker Punch with my college friend Adam. We totally decided to dress up for it, don't we look SEXY

Adam's tits are awesome.

Everything was awesome until the bus we got back home decided to terminate about 10 miles from my house so I was stuck at Swanley station for an hour in the pitch dark with no one on the platform. When someone finally did come onto the platform, I thought they were like an axe murderer. Thankfully my aunt picked me up. Life saver!

Marie and I went hunting for extensions for her in Peckham highstreet. Oh my god, it's amazing. Why hadn't I been there before. The high street is just shop after shop of hair and beauty suppliers and the walls are COVERED with extensions.

THOUSANDS and they are so cheap compared to what you can buy online. You can get 24" real human hair for about £60 which is AMAZING. One of the shops, Paks, has a website. I recommend Peckham for hair for everyone. It was such a trek to get up there. We met at our usual place in Leicester Square and didn't realise how many trains we have to get there. I think it was about 8 and it took ages. We should have just met up at Croydon. HAH least we know now :D

I went out to the Harvester with my old school friends who had come back from University as well as Sarah's uni friend. I don't think I made very good first impression on him, he must have thought I was bat shit crazy. My ever-lasting ear problem decided to attack me with full force and fill up my ears with so much fluid that I felt drunk and spent most the evening giggling to myself with my arms splayed across the table. Sorry guys XD It was nice to catch up with everyone and stuff our faces.

I met up with Chriss and Marie again and we sat in St James' Park and scared away the tourists. We spent most the time trying to pick fights with the wildlife and talking in stupid voices. We even managed to see some Pelicans!

The highlight of my week has definitely been getting tickets to freaking SM Town Paris! If any of you don't know what it is, it's a load of Korean Pop groups from the company SM entertainment are coming to Paris for a gig. My dear Ananya spent ages trying to get hold of tickets for us as the ticket websites kept crashing but she finally got hold of some. When she broke the news to me I was doing a mock test in college and I freaked out and got all my answers wrong on my paper. I am SO FLIPPING EXCITED ABOUT IT though I'm not too happy about how much money is going to have to be spent x_x. We're in the process of sorting out accommodation and travel. We're turning it into a little shopping weekend :D

Skank Day

Sorry I've been really bad at blogging recently, but I have a fun post for today!

On discussing how much we missed the skankier side of Gyaru and street fashion in general my friends Chriss, Ellie and I decided to have a Skank Day!

Skank Day basically involved dressing up in trashy clothes and wandering around London doing trashy fun things like going to Soho and sitting in Street corners.

I loved my hair. I found curling a piece of hair inwards and curling the next outwards and continuing in that pattern makes your hair look bigger.

My outfit consisted on a distressed River Island pencil skirt that I wore as a dress (The elastic squashed my boobs so much I wouldn't be surprised if they went down a cup size haha), a Glad news varsity jacket, knee-high socks with frills (which I eventually changed to tights because you could see my underwear through my "dress"), a chain that I wore as a belt with a fox tail attached to it.

We met outside the Empire Cinema in Leicester Squaure and while Chris and I waited for Ellie to arrive we went to get Chriss's thigh-high boots whose heels snapped off (that's London roads for you) and the nice man at the shoe-fixing place seemed to approve of our Skank Day idea so he fixed the boots for free! Skank points for us!

On meeting Ellie, we were all hungry so we went to McDonalds of course for some SKANK FUEL and went to the Trocadero to slob in "the corner" and take grotesque pictures of us eating and reapplying our makeup.

Next was the parapara machine, DDR and one of those weird Korean dance machines with the arrows pointing diagonally. It had SHINee and B2ST songs on it, we were very happy.

Our Skank army needed a name so we referred to ourselves as the ageHoes for the day

Admittedly it isn't hard to look like a skank or even stand out in London when you're wearing dark, tight fitting clothes because everyone else is wearing florals, leggings and Uggs..

The day couldn't be complete without a trip to Soho of course! Our first port of call was this amazing new bakery called Cox Cookies & Cake which sold the prettiest looking cupcakes I've ever seen!

The icing was covered in edible glitter as well as the molded chocolate Skulls with red glitter eyes.

and because it's located in Soho, you have to have some appropriately themed ones!!

WOOOO!!

The whole shop was black with glitter and silver with a mirrored ceilings! So awesome.

The staff wore black and had cute little studded aprons on! The dude there was so cute, he was like "Harajuku girls!" and we had to explain to him what a skank was XD Bless

After cupcakes, we toured the Lingerie shops. I finally got a look into the shop Trashy Lingerie that I've been eyeing up for a while. We saw so much cute lingerie! It's a shame I have no-one to wear them for haha. I was dissappointed by the stuff they sold in Ann Summers. The brand is really popular here in the UK but they just don't match up to the cuteness of MA*RS lingerie

I need this in my life

We learned several things from our themed day

1. People avoid you at the train station
2. You could be mistaken for a prostitute
3. Nice men who fix shoes fix your broken thigh-highs for free
4. Stupid girls at the Trocadero might throw money at you
5. Leery guys will leer
6. You could get hit on by a man with a guitar
7. Spanish guys may ask you if he can join your party
8. Weird kids might try to touch your butt
9. Standing around in general makes people think you’re street performers.
10. Chavvy boys wearing fake Ed Hardy tracksuits might try and hit on you

Themed days are really fun. I hope to do more of them and I encourage you all to have one with your friends once in a while.

At 15mm these are probably the largest lenses I have tried before

Urgh face-hate day

The lenses look rather purple in the picture but in a proper light they are actually really bright.

Looking at them in the lens container, they don't look that big and on putting them in, they didn't really strike me as being particularly huge and only realized they were 15mm when I checked on Mukuchu's site XD

They were really easy to get in, maybe because they're thicker than most other lenses I've had.

I really like how the design shows up with the flash on but in natural light (which is hard to show in my bedroom) they look quite plasticy and the blue doesn't blend in with my natural colour as well as I might have hoped.

As pretty as I thought they were they were really drying on my eyes. My vision was really impaired after about an hour and they felt prickly. I can't really say if it was my eyes being over-sensitive to them or that it was just a trait of the lenses in general, it could be down to the thickness of the lenses but I'm really not too sure.

Design: ★★★ I wish the blue covered more of my natural eye colour.

Enlargement: ★★★★

Comfort: ★★ They were really prickly after only an hour of wear -_-

Overall: ★★★

I wrote this review yesterday but on waking up today and having another look at them, they've grown on me quite a bit. They are lovely lenses and they go great with most makeup styles but my main concern was how drying it was no my eyes. I know everyone eyes are different so not everyone will experience the same effects on their eyes and if you do want to try the lenses, don't let what I said about them put you off (for all i know, I probably didn't clean them properly and need new clean solution)

Currently, all GEO 15mm lenses on Mukuchu's site are only US $20 which is about £12!!

Buying crap, Facehunter and future stuff

Hello lovelies!!

It's now the Easter Holidays so I have decided that it's going to be a constructive 2 weeks and I will not sit on my ass on tumblr or shop too much! I've already had a pretty eventful few days.

On Saturday, my friend Jess and I went to the local park for a picnic and on the way back I went a bit mad in Boots.

I really need to find a more attractive surface to take photos of stuff on. My floor is so ugly and makes everything look boring.

This Neutrogena vibrating face scrubbing thing. It looks like a weird sex toy...

Basically you can buy packs of these pads like the ones below and they contain cleansing soap and do different stuff for your skin and they attach to the main scrubbing with with a kind of velcro.

It works SO WELL. It massages your face, cleanses you skin and generally works amazingly, not bad for £6!

and because I ran out of MAC fluid line, I tried this baby.

Maybelline Lasting Drama gel eyeliner! It is AMAZING. If you're thinking about buying the Mac Fluid line, just get this instead. Srsly. It's only £7 and comes with an amazing brush that makes it super easy to apply.

Me and my older sister decided to go up to London because we were bored, Our parents have gone away to our house in Cyprus for 2 weeks so we have full reign of the house here til they get back.

Originally we were jsut going to go to some art galleries but somehow we ended up at Oxford Street and a pair of round River Island sunglasses ended up in my possession somehow, and coincidentally £13 went missing from my purse soon afterward. Funny that~

As son as I bought the glasses, I ripped off the price tag and wore them immediately.

So me and my sis were minding our business when a guy (Yvan Rodic) with a camera comes up to me with a camera and said he was from the blog Face Hunter, which sounded strangely familiar, and he wanted to take my photos of my outfit. So after posing awkwardly in the middle of Oxford Street we said our goodbyes and I tottered off feeling like a total bad-man. On getting home I remembered Face Hunter is also a series of photographic books, like seriously awesome photos. I looked at the face hunter website and I saw all these amazingly dressed girls and guys and I'm seriously flattered that Yvan liked my outfit, everyone he photographed for his site are such amazing dressers, I feel like I don't compare!!

I also got told my a man that my skirt is going to fly up in the wind. I really wanted to flash him my shorts underneath my skirt and tell him I came prepared for such an occasion but that may have been inappropriate.

I have a couple more posts planned for the next few days including a room tour~ I've wanted to do one for a while and I actually tidied my room in preparation and another lens review~

Long time no blog! I've been so lazy~

The weather's been so lovely recently I just haven't felt like doing anything but I ventured out today to London do some serious shopping as I've been having withdrawals.

I went to Oxford street, as usual! It's usually pretty quiet on Wednesdays, especially at around 11o'clock, the time I normally go up there but it was strangely busy today...

still didn't deter me!!

So on reaching Oxford street, the heavens decided to open and it was basically a torrential down pout of rain the entire time I was shopping. Somehow this caused one of the soles of my boots to come away from the rest of the boot, not that you could really notice it but I'm a bit annoyed that I can't wear them anymore... in the bin they go!

SO my first port of call in Oxford street was Office Shoes! I haven't bought shoes in ages but I did go in there for a specific reason...

Lets see what's in this giant-ass bag....

This probably means nothing to a lot of you but basically I've been wanting to get hold of these hipster-magnets for a long time and I've only just bought them and I feel all tingly inside~

When the shop assistant brought them out I nearly had a heart attack and when I took them to the till was suddenly surrounded by another 2 staff congratulating me on my excellent choice of footwear and that they all had a pair. I felt like I was a member of an elite club!

THEY GO WITH EVERYTHING.

Oh yeah on with the other stuff. After feeling guilty over spending £120 on shoes (£108 with student discount!), but still in clothes I decided to brave Primark.

Primark is Oxford street a force to be reckoned with especially when its raining but I was brave ;_;

I wanted to try a vintage- [how I hate that word]esque look, hence why I bought these particular things. I don't normally buy clothes like these but I wanted to try something different!

and obviously I'll put a Gal twist on it when I style it up~

Simple black bag. It's spring now and as much as I love my furry River Island shoulder bag, I shall put it away for next autumn/winter.

it doesn't really show up in the photo but it's faux leather.

Rope necklace thingy. I don't know what attracted me to this, maybe because I've been staring at too many Mode-gyaru brand web-stores recently but it's quite lovely! It makes me want to wear a bikini and hunt for a beach.

Leopard print wrap. I don't know what you're supposed to call this silhouette (I thought it was a kimono sleeve top, but there seem to be no kimono sleeves...) It's really sheer and feels like chiffon. You can wear it tied up, as pictured, or let the the ends hang down.

It looks quite peachy in the picture but the skirt is more of a terracotta colour with cute little razor pleats.

It was called a size 8/10 but when I tried to pull it on, I could hear threads in the top hem snap as the elastic stretched x_x That's Primark quality for you aye!

A trip to John Lewis looking for black gel eyeliner (which I forgot to buy =_=) I came out with the blusher I posted in my March Want list; Nar's Angelika!

The camera flash drowned out the pink a bit but if you look on My want list 2 entries back, you can see it's true colour~

and lastly, a cape. I didn't buy this from London, I ordered it from ASOS a few days ago and it happened to appear on my door-step when I arrived back from London much to my delight!

On the hanger, it does look like it's just a blanket... Come to think of it, it basically is; a blanket with a slit going half way through the middle.

It sort of just hangs off your arms. It's super comfortable and perfect for Spring.

I had my 4th and 5th (it was a double lesson) driving lesson today and nobody died and I didn't total my instructors car so in my opinion that was a very successful day of driving!

I was so excited when I received these, my friend Toni got a pair a few months back and I really loved how they looked!

I guess the lens gets the name 'Hurricane' from the way the pattern swirls like that.

The brown of the lenses is pretty light but you can tell by the way the "pixels" in the lens are spaced that these lenses aren't the kind that are going to change your eye-colour, more work with it.

I love the effects of both with and without flash. I think the effect is quite dreamy looking and soft.

Isn't it funny how as soon as you have no money, you find a ton of things that you want to buy?
With me saving for Tokyo and spending a lot of money on fabrics earlier this month, I am already skint and are having shopping withdrawals.

I've been resisting the urge to browse online for things that'll make my shopping withdrawals worse but I can't help it! Here's some of the things that I have been pining after.

Coming from Shoesone, they're probably a knock-off of a high-end brand but at $28, who even cares! I love the open toe and horizontal gap feature. Imagine how cute they would look with a flash of coloured or glittery tights showing though -le sigh-

A few months ago, Tokyo Telephone wrote about Murua's Spring/Summer 2011 collection and I very nearly died from the sight of this top. It finally became available on their website but it's sold out and I am dying to get my hands on it. I NEED IT -salivate-

New hair, being approached and general crap

Sorry, for the lack of updates, my desire to blog has just vanished recently. I have a couple of things to talk abut but nothing earth shatteringly interesting, just about hair.

I got my hair tinted 3 shades lighter a few weeks ago, nothing dramatic

First thing that I wanted to say is that my two-tone extensions "evolved" slightly into ~~a new pokemon~~ something more fabulous. About 5 months ago before I had the red streaks put into my hair this is how I wanted my hair to look but because it would have invoked killing my hair with vast amounts of bleach, my stylist advised against it.

So I bought some blond extensions so I could fake having two-toned hair by dying the top half the same colour as my own hair and the bottom red.

But because I'm lazy, it took until now for me to actually carry this out
After I saw Kanako with a similar look it pushed me to actually do it.

My poor extensions went on a bit of a traumatic journey.

Even though my hair has been tinted to a lighter colour, my extensions were still too light to actually look ~~good~~ natural

This was my newly tinted hair and giant front fringe. Plz excuse lopsided fringe I didn't straighten it properly.

..so I had to dye the brown half a darker shade and slap the red on afterwards.

Don't they look gross! I used the left over Manic panic dye in Pillar-box Red from when I used when I had red streaks in my hair.

I ended up having to dye the red twice because managed to leave gap between where the brown ends and the red starts as you can see in the picture.

I was so excited to put them in once they dried! The dark brown is a near perfect match to my hair and the red is super vibrant!

I've been given really nice compliments for it which kind of leads me on to a weird incident that happened to me in London yesterday.

(I wrote out our conversation but in internet just shut itself down and didn't auto save GRARGGH)

Basically a guy (called Kieran) approached me when I was walking through Leicester Square and told me he saw me walking and thought I was cute and couldn't let me walk past without first talking to me. He really liked my hair and choice of clothes and said he hasn't seen a girl around dressed like me and he thought I seemed really unique because of that. I lied and told him I had a boyfriend (haha I'm a bitch) so I couldn't and he got really upset.

He was pretty cute, not really my type, rocking a nerdy chic look. I really admire his pluck for approaching me. That moment was literally like someone out of a cheesy rom-com for me, it was so surreal. He seemed really sweet and genuine and the way he came across was just so adorable, I felt bad for lying to him but ~~my heart is with my wives/my dungeon filled with partially nude kpop/jrock men~~ I just don't want a relationship right now plus as cute as the circumstance, it didn't really feel right.

I felt like I was in a flipping movie or some shit but that really made my day.... especially when almost 1/4 of this months paycheck went on buying various silks for my college project x_x KILL MEEEEE

Oh also, I got this sexy new t-shirt from Uniqlo

and yes, when it says Big Bang, it means these guys.

To get this bad-boy on pre-order, I had to be on the Uniqlo website at 6am last Friday and battle it out with 23489 other UK Big Bang fans to try and get one before they sold out (which was about half an hour) Yeah they're going to stock them in the shops soon but SHUSH

OMG it's glittery too AKABVFASJKF ASJDASD.

Now I shall go back into my nightly ritual of playing their new mini album and charging about in my new shirt.
